The summertime is a time where people often feel their best. The days are long and the nights are short. You feel invincible and full of energy. But for me, summer is a time of melancholy. I often feel lonely and sad when the days start getting shorter and the nights get longer.
I think part of it has to do with the fact that summer is a time of transition. It's the time between school years, or between jobs. It's a time when things are changing and you're not quite sure what the future holds. That can be scary and depressing.
But summer can also be a time of great happiness. It's a time when you can be outside all day, enjoying the warm weather and the long days. It's a time when you can make great memories with friends and family.
So, even though summer can be a tough time for me emotionally, I still try to enjoy it as much as possible. I savor the long days and the warm weather. And I try to make the most of the time I have with the people I love.
